Huffington Post – Pistachios were featured in an article titled, “9 Expert Tips for More Mindful Eating” on HuffingtonPost.com. The article mentions that eating in-shell snacks, such as pistachios, helps to slow down eating because it takes time to remove the actual nut from its encasing. WBAL-TV – Nothing says summer like a barbecue! Pistachios starred on WBAL-TV in a segment featuring registered dietitian, Rebecca Scritchfield, sharing healthy, flavorful summer foods and drinks to enjoy at summer barbecues. In the segment, Rebecca described pistachios as a delicious and healthy snack that pairs perfectly with watermelon. She mentioned that pistachios are not only a good source of protein and fiber, but they also offer a generous portion of 49 kernels per one serving, compared to only 15 potato chips per one serving!
