June is Men’s Health Month and it’s the perfect time to whip up a spread of dude-approved snacks with a healthy twist. Pistachios are one of the lowest fat, lowest calorie snack nuts and among the highest in protein. Pair them with other treats in moderation, and you’ll have a feast for both the eye and the palate.

Great for creating a lounge-like vibe or fiesta atmosphere, here are three craveable combinations that men will love:

In-shell pistachios + lime tortilla chips + watermelon chunks sprinkled with chili-lime salt

Lime Tortilla Pairing

Enjoy this delicately nutty, spicy-sweet snack by filling colorful bowls with crunchy pistachios, cool chunks of fresh watermelon sprinkled with Mexican chili-lime salt, and lime tortilla chips. Nestle the watermelon bowl in ice to keep the melon chilly and the presentation cool! Accompany with margaritas on the rocks and your fiesta will be popping in no time.

In-shell pistachios + Chinese sesame noodle sticks + wasabi peas

Chinese Sesame Noodles

The savory-nutty flavor of pistachios combines with the spicy kick of wasabi peas and the salty crunch of Chinese sesame noodle sticks to create a trinity of contrasting flavors and textures. Just fill a trio of serving bowls…then, get ready to crack and crunch! Pair with a crisp, refreshing Asian beer or iced green tea to chill out this uber-hot, uber-cool flavor pairing.

In-shell pistachios + cured olive & salami skewers + rosemary-parmesan popcorn

Cured Olive

The subtle earthiness of pistachios pairs well with its Mediterranean counterparts, rosemary-parmesan popcorn and olive-salami skewers, to round out a flavorful snack trio. Fill two bowls–one with pistachios and the other with popcorn tossed with a splash of extra-virgin olive oil, minced fresh rosemary and grated parmesan. Skewer oil-cured pitted olives with slices of salami and serve on a small platter alongside pistachios and popcorn. Men love a good Cabernet, and that would be a great drink to pair here.
